This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Virginia, west
central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.


There is a risk for excessive rainfall which could lead to flooding
of urban and poor drainage areas today and tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.


Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT THIS EVENING...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following
county, Montgomery...near Christiansburg.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 537 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicates the heavy rain has
ended. However upwards of 2 inches of rain fell near
Christiansburg and this water is still running off into area
streams. Minor flooding was reported near the Interstate.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Christiansburg.
