* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Widespread flooding, especially in
Northwest Orange County from Lake View downstream to the Saltwater
Barrier. Several homes and camps are flooded or threatend.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 4.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:15 PM CDT Monday was 4.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 7.9 feet Saturday
morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

* WHERE...Pine Island Bayou near Sour Lake.
* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Water inundates roads in lowland areas
near the river. Low spots on Old Sour Lake Road are under water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 22.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 25.7 feet early
Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
early Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Fog is rapidly developing across the region
and will worsen though the morning. Expect dense fog during the
morning commute.
