This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.


Above normal temperatures in the 90s to near 103 degrees can be
expected across all of south central Texas today. Heat index
values may briefly approach 108 degrees this afternoon across the
coastal plains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.


Hot temperatures will continue on Thursday, with highs in the 90s
to near 105 degrees.

There is a risk for strong to severe storms for areas along and
north of a Rocksprings to San Antonio to Cuero line Thursday
afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging winds are the main
severe weather concerns.

...Heat Index values near 108 degrees this afternoon...

High temperatures will range from the lower 90s to near 100
degrees this afternoon across the coastal plains. In addition,
south to southeasterly winds will continue to provide a steady
supply of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. The hot and humid
conditions will combine to produce heat index values near 108
degrees for a few locations this afternoon.

Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. Wear
light-weight and loose fitting clothing and drink plenty of water.
