This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.


Strong to severe thunderstorms and locally heavy rains are
possible this afternoon through tonight. The main threats are
large, possibly very large hail, damaging wind gusts, and
flooding. A tornado or two is possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.


Chances of thunderstorms continue on Thursday through Sunday.
Cannot rule out a few strong to severe thunderstorms and heavy
rains mainly Thursday and Friday.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH

THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bandera, Bastrop, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell,
Comal, De Witt, Fayette, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays,
Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Lavaca, Lee, Llano, Travis, Williamson and
Wilson.

* WHEN...From 3 PM CDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Periods of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms
will bring the possibility of heavy rainfall to the watch
area. Isolated amounts in excess of 5 inches may allow for
flash flooding to occur.
