This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, mainly across
Central Texas. Widespread thunderstorms are then expected tonight
across all of North and Central Texas. Damaging wind gusts and flash
flooding are the main threats, with a lower threat of large hail and
tornadoes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Daily storm chances will continue through the weekend. The highest
severe threat during this timeframe will be Thursday evening into
Thursday night across Western North Texas. Heavy rainfall will likely
accompany this activity and could lead to localized flash flooding
concerns, especially over areas that are saturated from recent
rainfall.

be greatly appreciated.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH

THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of North and Central Texas, including the
following counties: Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Ellis, Falls,
Freestone, Hamilton, Hill, Kaufman, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan,
Mills, Navarro, Anderson, Henderson, Leon, Van Zandt, Milam and
Robertson.

* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas. Creeks and
streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches, with isolated higher
amounts up to 5 inches.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
