This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central
Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight


Scattered thunderstorms, some severe, are expected to develop
this afternoon in the Big Country and Concho Valley, then move
southeast this evening. The Concho Valley, northward to Abilene,
Sweetwater, Anson, Roby, and Haskell has been upgraded to an
enhanced potential, for very large hail and damaging winds, along
with a tornado or two. A slight risk is in effect for the rest of
West Central Texas. Localized flooding is possible due to heavy
rainfall with the strong to severe storms.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday


Strong to severe storms will be possible again on Saturday
afternoon and evening, with all hazards being possible, including
large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado. Storm
coverage will be more extensive, and more widespread heavy
rainfall and flooding will be possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will be needed this afternoon and evening, and
again Saturday afternoon and evening.

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Kimble County in west central Texas...

* Until 430 AM CDT.

* At 123 AM CDT, Although the rain has ended, creeks and streams
across Kimble county continue to flow with swiftly flowing water.
Low water crossings along these creeks and streams, including
along the Llano River itself, may remain flooded and impassable.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law Enforcement

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Junction, Segovia, South Llano River State Park, Telegraph and
Roosevelt.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Park Road 73 crossing South Llano River, US HWY 377 crossing South
Llano River, RM 385 crossing Falls Prong, RM 385 crossing Perdenales
River, FM 2169 crossing Johnson Fork Creek, US HWY 377 crossing 2
miles North of Telegraph, County Road 430 crossing Joy Creek, KC 451
crossing Johnson Fork, crossings along County Road 410 and KC 314
crossing Llano River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Flooding is especially dangerous at night.
