This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.


A couple of isolated thunderstorms will be possible across portions
of Deep East Texas through sunset. However, severe weather is not
currently anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.


Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will be possible through
upcoming weekend and into at least the middle part of next week.
There will be a threat for strong to severe thunderstorms each day
with the greatest threats coming on Tuesday into Wednesday with the
approach of our next storm system. While details concerning specific
thunderstorm risks are still difficult to determine so far out in the
forecast, damaging wind gusts, large hail and locally heavy
downpours, at the very least, are a strong possibility Tuesday into
Wednesday across portions of the Four State Region.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...


Angelina River Near Lufkin affecting Nacogdoches, Cherokee and
Angelina Counties.

Attoyac Bayou Near Chireno affecting Nacogdoches, San Augustine,
Rusk and Shelby Counties.

For the Angelina River...including Alto, Lufkin...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Attoyac Bayou...including Chireno...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...


* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Angelina River near Lufkin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 165.0 feet, Expect flooding to continue for several
days with the majority of the gravel access roadway flooded.
Boaters and four wheel-operators should use caution traversing
both upstream and downstream on the Angelina River as currents can
become swift and turbulent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 164.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 158.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 1:15 PM CDT Friday was 164.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 165.3
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then rise to 166.2
feet Wednesday morning. Additional rises are possible
thereafter.
- Flood stage is 161.0 feet.

forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River at Rockland.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, High water will flood and close several
roadways especially in the Fox Landing community. Some low area
homes in the Fox Landing community will also be threatened with
flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 28.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 1:00 PM CDT Friday was 28.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.3
feet Monday evening.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
