This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible across western North Texas late
this afternoon and evening. A few strong to severe storms are
possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Daily storm chances will continue through the weekend. A few strong
to severe storms will be possible, especially Wednesday night and
Thursday. The threat for heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding
will increase during the Wednesday night-Thursday morning timeframe
as well.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

and Freestone Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Long Lake (Oakwood).

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, Minor flooding of the Coffield Prison
agricultural land, and ranch and farm lands along the river, is
expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 32.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Thursday morning and continue rising to 37.6 feet early
Sunday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THURSDAY EVENING...


* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Navasota River near Easterly.

* WHEN...Until late Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding below Easterly
is expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall to 21.6 feet late this
afternoon. It will then rise to 21.7 feet late this evening.
It will fall to 21.6 feet late this evening. It will then
rise to 21.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It will fall
below flood stage late Thursday morning to 2.2 feet early
Sunday morning then rise again.
