This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
There is a low chance for additional thunderstorm development this
afternoon and evening, mainly to the south of I-20. Lightning and
heavy rain will be the primary threats.
Flooding may occur with some of these storms, especially in areas
across Central Texas that have already seen excessive rainfall.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Daily storm chances are expected through much of next week. Some
severe weather will be possible, especially on Monday and Wednesday.
Threats will include large hail, damaging winds, isolated tornadoes,
and flash flooding.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Navasota River above Groesbeck.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Minor out of bank flow will occur along the
left bank of the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:55 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 6.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 7.3 feet this afternoon. It
will then fall below flood stage late this evening.
