The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Falls County in central Texas...
Limestone County in central Texas...
McLennan County in central Texas...

* Until 1000 AM CDT.

* At 608 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. 1 to 3 inches of rain has
fallen during the last few hours, and another 1 to 2 inches is
likely through 9 am. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Waco, Hewitt, Robinson, Bellmead, Woodway, Lacy-Lakeview, Marlin,
McGregor, Groesbeck, West, Mart, Beverly Hills, Lorena,
Bruceville-Eddy, Moody, Valley Mills, Riesel, Coolidge, Lott and
Crawford.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms will continue to
push through North and Central Texas into the morning hours before
clearing off to the east. Our main concern will be regarding the
flash flooding threat, with impacts potentially lingering through the
afternoon.

Additional potential for severe weather will return across North and
Central Texas through the overnight hours tonight. The primary
threats will be large hail and damaging winds, along with flash
flooding. There will be a low chance for isolated tornadoes as well.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Daily storm chances will continue through the weekend. Heavy
rainfall will likely accompany this activity and could lead to
localized flash flooding concerns, especially over areas that will
already be saturated due to recent rainfall.

Timely reports of severe weather and flooding tonight will be greatly
appreciated.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of North and Central Texas, including the
following counties: Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Ellis, Falls,
Freestone, Hamilton, Hill, Kaufman, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan,
Mills, Navarro, Anderson, Henderson, Leon, Van Zandt, Milam and
Robertson.

* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas. Creeks and
streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches, with isolated higher
amounts up to 5 inches. Also continue to monitor for
additional warnings should they be issued, especially in
areas that have already seen excessive rainfall totals over
the last 12 to 24 hours.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
