This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected across the region
this afternoon and evening. A few severe storms will be possible.
Hail and damaging winds will be the primary hazards. Locally heavy
rain is also possible which could result in additional flooding,
mainly across portions of Central Texas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A brief lull in storms will occur on Tuesday and most of Wednesday,
followed by additional storm chances Wednesday night through the
upcoming weekend. Severe weather may be possible Wednesday night and
Thursday, but precise details are uncertain at this time. Heavy
rainfall may renew flooding across the region.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and south central
Texas, including the following counties, in north central Texas,
Bell, Falls, Freestone, Limestone, McLennan and Navarro. In
northeast Texas, Anderson, Henderson and Leon. In south central
Texas, Milam and Robertson.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Area creeks and
streams are running high and could flood with additional heavy
rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are possible
through late afternoon.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
