...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM CDT THURSDAY THROUGH

FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and south central
Texas, including the following counties, in north central Texas,
Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Ellis, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Johnson,
Limestone, McLennan and Navarro. In northeast Texas, Anderson,
Henderson and Leon. In south central Texas, Milam and Robertson.

* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT Thursday through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Low-water crossings may become flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals of 1.5 to 3 inches, with isolated higher
amounts up to 4 inches.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms tonight, primarily west of
the I-35 corridor. Lightning will be the primary hazard, but the
stronger storms may have small hail associated with them.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Widespread storms are expected Thursday into Thursday night. Some of
these storms could become severe with large hail and damaging winds.
A tornado or two may also occur. In addition, heavy rainfall may
lead to flooding, especially across Central and East Texas.

A slight chance of storms will continue into Friday. The main hazard
will be frequent lightning. A few storms may have small hail.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
