This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Severe weather chances should increase into the afternoon and evening
hours, as the main disturbance begins to move through the region.
Hail and damaging winds continue to be the main threat, with isolated
flash flooding possible under heavy rainfall rates.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.


Heavy rain looks possible again into next weekend, as another
disturbance moves into the region. An additional 1-3 inches of
rainfall will be possible, with another flood watch potentially being
needed by the middle of the workweek.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

Attoyac Bayou Near Chireno affecting Rusk, Shelby, San Augustine
and Nacogdoches Counties.

For the Attoyac Bayou...including Chireno...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Expect minor lowland flooding of boat
ramps and pastures. Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.

- At 8:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM CDT Sunday was 15.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.8
feet Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Lowland flooding will continue for several
days. Oil field operations will be curtailed and timber resources
will suffer severe flooding. Fisherman should use caution as
currents are swift.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 28.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM CDT Sunday was 29.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 27.0 feet Friday
evening.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

the reach of the Sabine River from the Tatum through Beckville and
DeBerry areas with flooded boat ramps, gas and petroleum wells,
and even some low area cabins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 27.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:45 PM CDT Sunday was 27.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 26.7 feet Friday
evening.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 15.1 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday
morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
