* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Trinity River near Long Lake (Oakwood).
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Major flooding of ranches and farm lands
along the river is expected. The Coffield Prison farm and ranch
interests will be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 43.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 44.0
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then rise to 44.5
feet Thursday morning. Additional rises are possible
thereafter.

For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Moderate flooding is forecast.
