* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
* WHERE...Falls, Freestone, Kaufman, Limestone, Navarro, Anderson,
Henderson, Leon, Van Zandt, and Robertson Counties.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM CDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave
plenty of distance between you and others.

Neches River At Rockland affecting Tyler, Polk, Angelina and
Jasper Counties.
Neches River Near Diboll affecting Trinity, Angelina, Tyler,
Houston and Polk Counties.
Neches River Near Alto affecting Cherokee, Houston, Trinity and
Anderson Counties.
Neches River Near Neches affecting Cherokee, Houston and Anderson
Counties.
For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Major flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

and equipment to higher ground away from the river.

- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM CDT Monday was 14.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.5
feet tomorrow morning.

falls slowly, flooding will gradually decrease.

- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 PM CDT Monday was 20.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 17.4 feet

along the river is expected. The Coffield Prison farm and ranch
lands will be moderately flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 43.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 38.5 feet early
