This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central
Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight


There is an Enhanced Risk for severe thunderstorms this late
this afternoon into tonight across all of West Central Texas.
Large to very large hail, damaging wind gusts, and a few tornadoes
will be possible. Locally heavy rainfall may also result in
localized flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday


Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible across much
of the area Thursday into the weekend. Some of the storms may be
severe Thursday afternoon and evening. The main hazards will be
large hail and damaging winds, although an isolated tornado is
also possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is likely this evening and may be necessary
again Thursday afternoon and evening.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM CDT THURSDAY...


* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Callahan, Coleman, Jones, Shackelford and Taylor.

* WHEN...Until 115 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1113 PM CDT, very heavy rainfall from Anson to Abilene to
Baird, then east to Fort Griffin to Albany...was moving
northeast at 35 mph. Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due
to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Abilene, Clyde, Stamford, Anson, Hamlin, Albany, Baird,
Wylie, Merkel, Tye, Cross Plains, Tuscola, Hawley, Buffalo
Gap, Lueders, Trent, Lawn, Moran, Putnam and Hamby.
- This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 261 and 323.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Intersections along Sammons Street, I-20 Frontage Roads near
Putnam, Butternut Underpass, Curry Lane from Clack Street to
Catclaw Drive, Texas Avenue at Arnold Boulevard,
Intersections along Buttonwillow Parkway, I-20 Frontage Roads
near Baird, I-20 Frontage Roads west of Clyde, Antilley Rd.
crossing Button Willow Creek and North 6th Street and Willis.

rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Brown, Coleman, McCulloch and San Saba.

* WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1107 PM CDT, thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall over
much of Mcculloch county northward to Coleman...was moving
northeast at 35 mph toward Brownwood. Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and
small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Brownwood, Brady, Coleman, Early, Santa Anna, Bangs, Blanket,
Melvin, Trickham, Winchell, Brookesmith, Rockwood, Mercury,
Waldrip, Placid, Gouldbusk, Lohn, Lake Brownwood, Camp Bowie
and Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Belle Plain at Romines, Gifford at Beaver, 4th Street at
Wood, Magnolia at Belmeade, Cordell at Anderson, Good
Shephard at 11th, South Blackburn between Adkins and 13th,
White Street at Live Oak Creek, Willis at Belmeade and Indian
Creek at 9th.

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Coleman, Concho, McCulloch and Runnels.

* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 958 PM CDT, Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall extended
from Eden to the O H. Ivie Reservoir, and from Lowake to
Ballinger to Winters to Bradshaw were moving north at 20 mph.
Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Up to 1.25
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Ballinger, Winters, Paint Rock, Eden, Novice, Ivie Reservoir
Near Concho Park Marina, Benoit, Leaday, Talpa, Millersview,
Rowena, Hatchel, Stacy, Glen Cove, Valera, Crews, Lowake,
Doole, Silver Valley and Salt Gap.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
FM 1929 crossing Fuzzy Creek, FM 0503 crossing Waloope Creek,
CR 348 crossing Coyote Creek, County Road 482 crossing South
Fork Jim Ned Creek, County Road 406 crossing Home Creek,
crossings along County Road 4071, County Road 3034 crossing
