This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.


No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.


Thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday night as a frontal boundary
begins to approach the area from the north. As this boundary slowly
shifts south and begins to stall across the area on Wednesday,
thunderstorms are likely to develop in its vicinity by the afternoon.
Some of these thunderstorms may be strong to severe and also carry
the threat for heavy rainfall. Another round of strong to severe
thunderstorms will be possible again on Thursday before the frontal
boundary clears east of the area. Isolated thunderstorms may again be
possible on Friday and Saturday.

...OZONE ACTION DAY IN EFFECT FOR SUNDAY...

The Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has declared
an Ozone Action Day for the Tyler, Longview and Marshall areas of
east Texas for Sunday.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone pollution in the Tyler-Longview area on
Sunday. You can help prevent ozone pollution by sharing a ride,
walking or riding a bicycle, taking your lunch to work, avoiding
drive-through lanes, conserving energy, and keeping your vehicle
properly tuned.

If required...the next Ozone Action Day notice will be issued by
300 pm on Sunday.
