This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A line of thunderstorms will push east through the region tonight.
Some storms could be severe with large hail, damaging winds, and
tornadoes all possible. Flash flooding will also be a threat across
much of North and Central Texas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Storm chances will continue on Sunday, with a severe weather threat
east of I-35 in the afternoon. Large hail, damaging winds, flash
flooding and a few tornadoes will once again be possible.

Occasional storm chances will continue through Thursday, a few of
which could be strong to severe.

Timely reports of severe weather and flooding will be appreciated
through the weekend.

AMBER ALERT NETWORK

THE SAN MARCOS POLICE DEPARTMENT IS SEARCHING FOR LEGEND TORRES,
HISPANIC, MALE, 2 YEARS OLD, 3 FEET 1 INCH, 30 POUNDS, BLACK
HAIR, BROWN EYES. THEY WERE LAST SEEN AT 1 PM ON APRIL 27, 2024
AT 205 SOUTH C M ALLEN PKWY IN SAN MARCOS, TX, LAST SEEN WEARING A
BLACK SHIRT WITH LEGEND SINCE APRIL 2021 ON IT, BLACK SHORTS,
BLUE AND WHITE JORDANS.

POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR JOEY TORRES, 46 YEARS OLD, HISPANIC, MALE,
5 FEET 10 INCHES, 400 POUNDS, BLACK HAIR, BROWN EYES AND LAST
SEEN WEARING A BLACK SHIRT, GRAY SHORTS, AND RED AND WHITE
JORDANS, IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR ABDUCTION.

LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS BELIEVE THIS CHILD TO BE IN GRAVE OR
IMMEDIATE DANGER.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT...


* WHAT...South winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
expected.

* WHERE...North and Central Texas.

* WHEN...Now until midnight CDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Unsecured outdoor items may be blown around in the
wind. Driving on area roadways may become difficult,
especially for high-profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 20 to
30 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Boaters should
use extra caution when venturing onto area lakes. Residents may
wish to take action to secure trash cans, lawn furniture, and
other lightweight outdoor objects that may be blown around in the
strong winds.
