This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.


Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible
today. Look for strong wind gusts, cloud to ground lightning and
locally heavy rainfall where strong storms develop today. The storms
should diminish in coverage and intensity this evening. After
midnight, a complex of strong storms will move eastward into
Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas. These
storms will have the capability once again to produce strong wind
gusts and locally heavy rainfall after midnight towards sunrise
Sunday Morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.


Thunderstorms will become widespread across the region on Sunday as
an upper level storm system moves overhead. There will be a
possibility of strong wind gusts and locally heavy rainfall with the
strongest storms on Sunday.

The next round of strong to severe thunderstorms will likely hold off
until late Wednesday into Thursday and Thursday Night. A cold front
will begin pushing into the region from the northwest and strong to
severe thunderstorms will be possible along and in advance of this
feature. In addition to severe weather chances, locally heavy rainall
will also be likely late Wednesday through late Thursday.
