...TORNADO WATCH 210 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...


This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Arkansas, southeast
Oklahoma and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.


Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms, some possibly
severe, are expected to increase this afternoon and evening over
East Texas, Southwest Arkansas, and Southeast Oklahoma, ahead of a
weak cold front and associated upper level disturbance. Hail,
damaging wind, and the chance for a tornado or two will all be
possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.


Additional showers and thunderstorms should redevelop Thursday
afternoon and evening near the slow moving front, with the severe
weather threat for damaging winds over the region all possible over
these areas. This will diminish Thursday night as the front shifts
south of the region.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed.

Sabine River Near Mineola affecting Wood and Smith Counties.

Sabine River Near Gladewater affecting Upshur, Gregg, Smith and
Wood Counties.

Sabine River Near Hawkins affecting Upshur, Wood and Smith
Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview...Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

- Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 27.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 24.7 feet Monday
morning.

expect water to overflow the bridge approaches to Farm to Market
Highway 1804 between Hoard and Lindale. Expect several hundred
acres of flooded pasturelands next to the river both upstream and
downstream. Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 17.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 AM CDT Wednesday was 17.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 16.2 feet Monday
morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
