This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Thunderstorms will continue across Central Texas this afternoon,
gradually shifting south and east of the area this evening. Heavy
rain and flooding will be the primary threat with these storms. A
severe storm or two with gusty winds and quarter sized hail may also
occur.

Isolated thunderstorms may redevelop overnight, but will
likely remain sub-severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Storm chances will continue into Friday, particularly along the Red
River. The main hazard will be frequent lightning, but small hail
will also be possible. A few storms may linger across East Texas
Friday night.

Thunderstorm chances will return Tuesday night into Wednesday when a
cold front enters the region.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north and central Texas including the
following counties, Bell, Bosque, Collin, Comanche, Coryell,
Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton, Hill,
Hood, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan,
Mills, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant,
Wise, Anderson, Henderson, Leon, Van Zandt, Milam, and Robertson.

* WHEN...Through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may become flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals of 1.5 to 3 inches, with isolated higher
amounts up to 5 inches.
