Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...


* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...South Sulphur River near Cooper.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Minor out of bank flooding will occur. A
few rural roads will begin to flood. Minor flooding will occur to
farm and ranch land adjacent to the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 17.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.4
feet early tomorrow afternoon.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms continue this evening, mainly across Central
Texas. Widespread thunderstorms are then expected tonight across all
of North and Central Texas. Damaging wind gusts and flash flooding
are the main threats, with a lower threat of large hail and
tornadoes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Daily storm chances will continue through the weekend. The highest
severe threat during this timeframe will be Thursday evening into
Thursday night across Western North Texas. Heavy rainfall will likely
accompany this activity and could lead to localized flash flooding
concerns, especially over areas that are saturated from recent
rainfall.
