This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Patchy dense fog will occur during the morning commute. Please use
caution if you encounter a fog bank.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Patchy fog is expected Wednesday morning across East Texas. This
will temporarily reduce visibility for motorists.

Daily storm chances will return Wednesday and continue through the
weekend. A few strong to severe storms will be possible, especially
Thursday.

MORNING...

* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Texas.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM CDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected due to reduced
visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The fog is patchy, resulting in rapid
changes in visibility over a short distance. If you encourer a
fog bank, plese allow plenty of room between you and other
vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will be reduced to less
than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your low-beam
headlights, and leave plenty of distance between you and the
vehicle ahead of you.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...South Fork Sabine River near Quinlan.

* WHEN...Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, out of bank flooding will occur. Some farm
and cattle industries will be flooded. Some rural roads will be
underwater. Water will be over the road and the FM 1565 bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 16.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this morning.

rural roads closures will be needed along the river reach.
Moderate flooding will occur along the river through Greenville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 17.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river has crested and will fall below flood
stage early tomorrow afternoon.
