This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma and northeast Texas.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible this
evening across Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, Southwest
Arkansas, and North Louisiana, along and ahead of a weak cold front
that will move into the region. Isolated strong storms can not be
ruled out, with locally gusty winds, small hail, and brief heavy
rainfall possible, before they diminish later tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Additional showers and thunderstorms will develop and spread across
the region Thursday and Friday, and could again pose a heavy rainfall
and flood threat across much of the region. This threat should
diminish by next weekend, as hotter and drier conditions return.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected through tonight.
