This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.


Warm, dry and breezy winds will give way to elevated to near
critical fire weather conditions this afternoon across the far
southwest Texas Panhandle and western South Plains.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening
across the far southeast South Plains and Rolling Plains. A strong
to severe storm cannot be ruled out with the primary threats being
golfball size hail and wind gusts up to 70 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop along
and east of the Interstate 27 corridor late Wednesday afternoon and
shift eastward across the Rolling Plains and southeast Texas
Panhandle Wednesday evening. Some severe thunderstorms are possible,
with very large hail and locally heavy rainfall the primary hazards.

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible across the far
southwest Texas Panhandle and far western South Plains on Wednesday.

Additional thunderstorms are possible mainly off the Caprock
Thursday
and Friday, and across the entire region Saturday through Monday.
