This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.


A potential for severe storms remains this afternoon and evening,
mainly along and east of an Amarillo to Guymon line. Very large
hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes may occur if storms can form.
A Tornado Watch is in effect for all of the Oklahoma Panhandle as
well as the north central Texas Panhandle until midnight tonight.

Across the western Panhandles, elevated to critical fire weather
conditions are possible due to gusty winds and low relative
humidity values. A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for these
areas from 12 PM to 9 PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.


Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will continue to be
possible Friday and Saturday due to gusty winds and low relative
humidity values.

Additional thunderstorms may be possible on Saturday in the far
eastern combined Panhandles, some of which could become strong to
severe.

Spotter activation will likely be needed today.

Area fire managers and emergency officials should be alert for
elevated or critical fire weather conditions through Saturday.
