DISCUSSION... Showers and isolated thunderstorms may linger into the
afternoon across far eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.

Later this afternoon, storms will likely redevelop along a cold
front which will lead to additional chances for severe weather,
mainly across southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this
afternoon and evening. While severe potential is not expected to as
high as was seen yesterday, the strongest storms will be capable of
producing large hail, damaging winds, and will also carry a non zero
tornado threat.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Activation of
the Regional Spotter Network Likely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Another storm system will arrive Tuesday,
continuing to affect the area through Friday. The main impact will
be repeated chances for precipitation and thunderstorms. Due to the
previously wet conditions and additional rainfall, flooding may
occur in spots. Gusty winds will also develop. Cooler and drier
weather returns by next weekend.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties,
Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and
Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties,
Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Delaware, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore,
Ottawa, Pushmataha and Sequoyah.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Shower and thunderstorm redevelopment this afternoon is
expected across the watch area. Additional rainfall amounts
combined with previous rainfall will maintain a flood threat
through this evening.
Therefore, the flood watch will now be in effect until 1 am
Monday.
