Significant severe weather is possible across portions of eastern

including potential for strong tornadoes, very large hail and
damaging wind gusts.

The higher severe weather chances will come late Monday with
storms that develop to the west along a dryline and move into
eastern Oklahoma, most likely after sunset. Storms are expected to
increase in coverage later in the evening, with severe weather
chances extending into parts of western Arkansas late Monday
evening or Monday night. In addition to the severe weather, a
limited flash flood threat will exist with any storms.

A few thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday, before severe
weather chances increase again Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Storm chances are expected to diminish later in the work week as
drier and cooler air filters in behind the departing cold front.
