DISCUSSION...
A line of storms continues to produce some severe weather across
far eastern OK and northwest AR. The main hazard is damaging wind,
but isolated severe hail or tornadoes can`t totally be ruled out.
Additional storms will form during the late morning and early
afternoon, leading to one more chance for severe weather in the
area. The storm activity is not excepted to be as intense as was
seen yesterday.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Another storm system will arrive Tuesday, continuing to affect the
area through Friday. The main impact will be repeated chances for
precipitation and thunderstorms. Due to the previously wet
conditions and additional rainfall, flooding may occur in spots. Gusty
winds will also develop. Cooler and drier weather returns by next
weekend.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties,
Benton, Crawford, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma,
including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Delaware, Le
Flore and Sequoyah.

* WHEN...Until 745 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 446 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.

possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties,
Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and
Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties,
Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Craig, Delaware, Haskell, Latimer, Le
Flore, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okmulgee, Ottawa,
Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner and
Washington OK.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread rainfall is occurring across the watch area.
Moderate rainfall will continue through the remainder of the
overnight hours, with additional thunderstorm activity
expected for the late morning and early afternoon. Locally
heavy rainfall during any thunderstorms is expected to result
in localized flooding.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, no flooding occurs but all recreational
floating along the Illinois River ceases due to strong turbulence.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 3.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.4
feet early tomorrow afternoon.
- Action stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
