DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage across eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this afternoon and evening. Storms
may produce heavy rainfall with a limited threat of localized
flash flooding. Additionally, there is a very low chance for a
strong to severe thunderstorm late tonight or early Monday
morning across eastern Oklahoma.

SATURDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Rain and thunderstorm chances are expected to continue through
Monday. This activity is forecast to taper off and exit by Tuesday
and Tuesday night. However, thunderstorm chances increase again
for the second half of this week with limited severe potential as
another disturbance impacts the region. Also, moderate to heavy
rainfall is possible with each round of storms, and may lead
to rises on rivers and streams or areas of flash flooding.
