DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms are expected to develop to the northwest along a
cold front and will push towards northeast Oklahoma after
midnight tonight. Isolated severe storms will be possible with
marginally severe hail and wind the main threats.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
An unsettled weather pattern will persist into the middle of next
week, with daily thunderstorm chances. The greatest potential for
organized severe weather will be from Monday into early Tuesday
as the flow aloft strengthens. The potential for flash flooding
will exist with any pockets of locally heavy rainfall that occur
over the next several days, especially those locations that have
already seen several rounds of heavier rainfall.

...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN OSAGE AND CENTRAL PAWNEE
COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM CDT...

At 222 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a
line extending from 7 miles south of Cedar Vale to 10 miles northeast
of Fairfax to 4 miles west of Maramec. Movement was northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
is possible.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM CDT SATURDAY THROUGH

SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties,
Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and
Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties,
Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Haskell,
Latimer, Le Flore, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee,
Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Rogers,
Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington OK.

* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT Saturday through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread heavy rainfall over the last week has led to very
saturated ground, excessive runoff, and rising rivers and
streams across the area. Another couple rounds of showers and
storms are expected this weekend, with widespread moderate to
locally heavy rainfall possible through Sunday evening.
Additional rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches will be possible,
with locally higher amounts leading to both flash flooding
and mainstem river flooding concerns.
