western...central...and southern Oklahoma...and western north
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight...


.Thunderstorms...
An area of strong thunderstorms will move east across central,
south- central, and southeastern Oklahoma this morning. Gusty
winds and heavy rainfall are possible with these storms.
Additional storms are possible this afternoon along a cold front,
with large hail and damaging wind gusts the main threats.

.Strong winds...
An area of strong winds will be possible north of the
thunderstorms early this morning across west central into central
Oklahoma. Winds gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible.

.Heavy Rainfall and Flooding...
Heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding across portions
of western north Texas and southwestern and southern Oklahoma
early this morning.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...


.Thunderstorms...
There will be a daily chance of thunderstorms through Monday. The
greatest risks for severe weather are on Friday and Saturday
nights and on Monday.

.Heavy Rainfall and Flooding...
Repeated rounds of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall could lead to
localized flooding in some areas through early next week

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in

Oklahoma...

Clear Boggy Creek near Caney affecting Atoka County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THIS AFTERNOON...


* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Clear Boggy Creek near Caney.

* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Creek levels rise to about 2 feet higher
than flood stage in western Atoka County and extreme northeastern
Bryan County. High stages on small feeder streams could result
in even greater depths to mainstem bottomlands near their points
of entry into Clear Boggy Creek. Croplands... pastures... and some
secondary rural roads are affected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 28.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet.
- Forecast...The Clear Boggy Creek is expected to fall below
flood stage late this morning and continue falling.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
