This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of northern...
western...central...and southern Oklahoma...and western north
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...


.Thunderstorms...
Thunderstorms will remain possible into the morning hours with
highest chances in portions of south central and southeast
Oklahoma. Some of the storms could become strong producing hail
and gusty winds. Heavy rain that could lead to localized flooding
is also a concern.

Some strong to severe storms will then be possible again this
evening and overnight, mainly west of a line from Henrietta Texas,
to Duncan and Chickasha, to Yukon and Guthrie, to Red Rock
Oklahoma. Large hail and strong winds are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...


.Thunderstorms...
Showers and thunderstorms will remain possible Saturday and
Sunday. Strong to severe storms will be possible once again with
large hail and damaging winds.

The highest potential for severe storms will be Monday as a
dryline and upper system move across the region. All hazards will
be possible.

.Heavy Rain...
Heavy rain that could lead to flash flooding and river flooding
will be possible Saturday evening into Sunday with the highest
amounts of rain expected to be mainly south of I-40. Flash
flooding will be a particular concern in those areas that have
already received heavy rainfall over the last week.

Oklahoma...

Clear Boggy Creek near Caney affecting Atoka County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TOMORROW MORNING...


* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Clear Boggy Creek near Caney.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Creek levels rise to three feet higher
than flood stage in western Atoka County and the northeastern edge
of Bryan County. High stages on small feeder streams result in
even greater depths to mainstem bottomlands near their points of
entry into Clear Boggy Creek. Croplands... pastures... and some
secondary rural roads are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 29.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet.
- Forecast...The Clear Boggy Creek has crested, is expected to
fall below flood stage late tonight, and will continue
falling.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
