This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of northern...
western...central...and southern Oklahoma...and western north
Texas.

.DAY ONE..Today and Tonight...


.Thunderstorms...
There is a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms today across
a large portion of northern into central and southern Oklahoma and
portions of western north Texas. An enhanced risk covers much of
the remainder of western north Texas and Oklahoma.

Multiple rounds of severe storms will be possible across the area
today and tonight. Hail to the size of baseballs, damaging wind
gusts of up to 80 mph and tornadoes, some of which could be
strong, will all be possible.

.Heavy Rainfall...
Multiple rounds of thunderstorms will also result in a risk for
flooding by late today and tonight particularly near and east of
I-35.

Fire Weather...
Near critical fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon
across northwest Oklahoma.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...


.Thunderstorms...
There will be a chance of severe thunderstorms Sunday across
southeast Oklahoma. A chance of thunderstorms will return across
the area Wednesday and continue through Friday. Although
widespread severe is not expected a few strong to severe storms
appear possible.

.Flooding...
Chance of heavy rainfall and possible flooding will continue
Sunday morning across southeast Oklahoma.

.Fire Weather...
Near critical fire weather conditions may develop Tuesday
afternoon across northwest Oklahoma.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Oklahoma, including the following counties,
Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Cleveland, Coal, Garvin, Hughes, Jefferson,
Johnston, Lincoln, Love, Marshall, McClain, Murray, Oklahoma,
Payne, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Seminole and Stephens and northern
Texas, including the following counties, Archer and Clay.

* WHEN...Through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rainfall is possible from repeated rounds of
thunderstorms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO EARLY MONDAY

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Washita River near Dickson.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Flood depths of about a foot extend along
the Washita River in Murray... Carter... and Johnston counties.
Over 2 thousand acres of bottomlands between Rock Creek near
Dougherty and Lake Texoma are covered... with flood depths up to 6
feet in low places. Any flooding on tributary creeks is increased
by backwater from the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
- Forecast...The Washita River is expected to rise to a crest
of 26.0 feet tomorrow evening.
- Action stage is 24.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
