SOUTHWESTERN WASHINGTON AND SOUTHEASTERN ATHENS COUNTIES THROUGH 345
PM EDT...

At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Albany, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Coolville, Tuppers Plains, and Darwin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast Ohio
and northern West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Isolated strong to severe storms could be capable of producing
damaging wind or hail this afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rain
could also result in isolated high water issues, mainly in areas
that received higher rainfall amounts earlier this weekend.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.


Daily rain and storm chances will continue this week, with isolated
to scattered severe storms possible on Tuesday. Repetitive rounds of
rain may also promote localized flooding concerns throughout the
week.
