...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Nevada...


Humboldt River At Battle Mountain affecting Lander County.

For the Lower Humboldt...including Palisade, Battle Mountain,
Comus...elevated river levels are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt and expected rainfall is
possible.

* WHERE...Humboldt River at Battle Mountain.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Minor lowland flooding
throughout the reach. A few rural roads begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:15 AM PDT Friday the stage was 9.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to slowly rise through the
weekend but remain below minor flood stage of 9.5 feet.
- Action stage is 8.5 feet.
- Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
