This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Isolated thunderstorms are possible 9am to 4pm today, mainly
along and northeast of a line from Greeley to Geneva. Most of the
storms will be non-severe, but one or two marginally severe storms
are possible with hail up to the size of quarters.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


There are chances for thunderstorms through the entire day on
Wednesday. The overall highest severe threat (including the threat
for tornadoes) is south of a line from McCook to Geneva, although
there is some risk for large hail and damaging wind across the
entire area. A few strong storms could produce marginally severe
hail during the morning and early afternoon, but the peak
timeframe for severe weather will be 5pm to 3am.

Localized flash flooding is also possible Wednesday evening
through the overnight.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms continue for portions of the
area Thursday through Monday as well.
