This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

A few strong to severe storms are possible through the evening
hours for areas mainly west of Highway 183 and south of Highway
136. Hail up to the size of tennis balls and wind gusts to 70 mph
will be possible with these storms.

Another round of thunderstorms is possible during the late
evening to overnight hours moving in from western Nebraska. Some
of these storms could be strong to severe, mainly west of Highway
81, hail to the size of ping pong balls and wind gusts around
60mph are possible with these storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms exist through much of the
upcoming work week, with some of the overall-higher chances
currently forecast Monday and Tuesday, with parts of the local
area already highlighted for potential severe weather by the
Storm Prediction Center.

The focus for any severe weather will likely be west of Highway
281 Monday evening-night, with damaging winds, heavy rainfall and
hail to the size of golf balls all possible with the strongest
storms. Any heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding
issues, especially across those areas already fairly saturated
from recent rains. For Tuesday, there will be a small chance for a
severe storm or two focused along and southeast of a line
extending from Osborne Kansas to Hebron Nebraska.

Beyond Tuesday, there is still too much forecast uncertainty to
confidently assess the potential for any severe weather.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Reports of severe weather, heavy rainfall amounts and localized
flooding are always appreciated.
