This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Sunday


Additional strong to severe storms will continue this afternoon-
evening, primarily in eastern NE and western IA. The primary
hazards will be damaging wind gusts (up to 60 mph) and hail (up to
1").

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday night through Saturday


A brief break in showers and storms is anticipated much of
Sunday, but daily 20 to 40% chances return Sunday evening through
next week. Confidence is low on the overall severe weather threat,
but repeated rounds of thunderstorms could lead to a flooding
threat.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is unlikely through Saturday, but reports of
severe weather are appreciated.

...BRIEF FUNNEL CLOUDS OR A LANDSPOUT POSSIBLE ACROSS EASTERN
NEBRASKA AND WESTERN IOWA THIS AFTERNOON...

Showers and weak thunderstorms have developed across the region
and will continue to move southeast through the afternoon hours.
Atmospheric conditions are favorable for brief funnel clouds or a
landspout with any thunderstorm that develop. These types of
funnel clouds are usually short lived. However, they can and
occasionally do touch the ground and cause minor damage.
Therefore, if you see a funnel cloud and feel your safety is
threatened, please seek shelter.
