...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO MIDNIGHT MDT
TUESDAY NIGHT...
* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
* WHERE...Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains, Canyon Ferry Area,
Elkhorn and Boulder Mountains, Gates of the Mountains, Helena
Valley, Meagher County Valleys, and Upper Blackfoot and MacDonald
Pass.
* WHEN...From noon today to midnight MDT Tuesday Night.
* IMPACTS...High winds will blow wet snow in the mountains and loose
debris in the valleys, which may damage property and cause a few
power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.
