...Snow to affect the mountain passes this morning...
Rain and snow will affect Southwest and Central MT this morning.
Snow levels are generally around 5000 feet this morning.
Thus snow is falling on MacDonald and Deep Creek Pass on Highway
12, Boulder and Elk Park Pass on Interstate 15, Homestake and
Bozeman Pass on Interstate 90, and Norris Hill on Highway 287.
Visibility is below one mile at times. Snow accumulations of 1 to
3 inches is likely on grassy areas, with less than a half inch on
most roadways.
Those traveling over mountain passes of Central or Southwest MT
this morning should be alert for quickly changing road conditions.
Some roadways could have slushy snow accumulations, creating
slippery stretches of roadways.
