...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central, south central, and southeast
Mississippi, including the following counties, in east central
Mississippi, Clarke and Jasper. In south central Mississippi,
Jefferson Davis and Marion. In southeast Mississippi, Covington,
Forrest, Jones and Lamar.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rounds of locally heavy rainfall in a short amount
of time over already saturated soils are possible tonight and
Saturday.
