* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Tonight


Areas of dense fog are a strong possibility tonight. A Dense Fog
Advisory may become necessary.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday


There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday, with the
best chance across west Kentucky.

The next chance of thunderstorms arrives late Monday night and
continues through much of next week.

Some of the forecast guidance shows there is a possibility of
strong to severe storms around mid week. Wednesday seems to be the
most likely day. However forecast confidence remains below
average for that far out in time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated through the weekend.

Illinois...Missouri...Kentucky...

Ohio River at Cairo affecting Mississippi, Pulaski, Ballard,
Carlisle, Hickman, Alexander and Fulton Counties.

For the Ohio River...including Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville,
Henderson, Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda,
Smithland Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam, Cairo...Minor flooding
is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Cairo.

* WHEN...Until Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
agricultural bottomland and low lying areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 41.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:00 AM CDT Friday was 42.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 41.2
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
early Monday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
