Kentucky...Illinois...Missouri...
Mississippi River near Hickman affecting Fulton County.
Mississippi River at Thebes affecting Scott and Alexander
Counties.
...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...Missouri...
Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau affecting Union, Scott,
Jackson, Alexander, Perry and Cape Girardeau Counties.
.With recent heavy rainfall, waters are rising on the Mississippi
River with crests in minor flood at Cape Girardeau, Thebes, and
Hickman early next week.
For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau, Thebes,
Hickman, New Madrid...Minor flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 32.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM CDT Saturday was 34.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.0
feet Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Saturday, May 18.
- Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
