This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Weather hazards expected...

Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

A few showers and thunderstorms will continue southeast of a Salem
to Gainesville line this morning. Cloud to ground lightning and
heavy rain will be possible with any storms.

While rainfall has for the most part ended over most of the area,
minor to significant flooding is still ongoing for a majority of
our forecast area. Please use caution when traveling. Turn around,
don`t drown!


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.


Multiple storm chances return Tuesday night through Friday. Some
days may exhibit a severe threat, but exact details are uncertain
at this time. Our western counties are within a Marginal (1/5)
risk for Tuesday and Wednesday night and we have been mentioned
in the SPC Day 4 outlook for Thursday.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT THIS EVENING...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Missouri,
including the following counties, in south central Missouri,
Howell, Shannon and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Douglas, Ozark,
Taney and Wright.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 903 AM CDT, The Department of Transportation reported
flooding from previous heavy rain in the warned area.
- This includes the following low water crossings...
Big Creek at County Road 390, Beaver Creek at County Road
524, South Fork Jacks Fork River at Stillhouse Road, Bryant
Creek at County Road 223, Pond Fork at County Road 883,
Mahans Creek at County Road 501 and Little North Fork River
at County Road 916.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mountain Grove, Ava, Forsyth, Willow Springs, Houston,
Cabool, Mansfield, Gainesville, Norwood, Eminence,
Summersville, Taneyville, Raymondville, Kissee Mills,
Theodosia, Wasola, Sundown, Vanzant, Drury, Siloam Springs,
Dora, Gentryville, Elk Creek, Simmons, Solo, Sycamore, Clear
Springs, Rockbridge, Brushyknob, Brixey, Zanoni, Bucyrus,
Yukon, Arroll, Eunice, Hardenville, Willhoit, Noble, Squires
and Pine Crest.
