This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Weather hazards expected...

Limited lightning risk.
Limited Fog risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated showers and non-severe thunderstorms will develop across
portions of the area this afternoon into early this evening, with
the best chances across the eastern Missouri Ozarks. These short-
lived semi-discrete storms could bring heavy rainfall and reduced
visibility as they pass through.

Dense fog is possible Wednesday morning, especially west of
Highway 65 and in the eastern Ozarks in valleys and near lakes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


Additional shower and thunderstorm chances will occur at times
from late Wednesday evening into Friday. A few strong to
marginally seevere storms are possible, along with locally heavy
rainfall and a minor localized flooding risk.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in

Missouri...

Osage River at Taberville affecting Vernon and St. Clair Counties.

For the Osage River...including Taberville...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...At 23.3 feet, The handicapped access to the Osage River
launch near Taberville floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 25.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this evening and continue falling to 19.5 feet Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
24.0 feet on 03/18/2019.
