...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in

Missouri...

Osage River at Taberville affecting St. Clair and Vernon Counties.

For the Osage River...including Taberville...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY EVENING...


* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Osage River at Taberville.

* WHEN...Until Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. B Highway 2.5 miles
east of Rich Hill in the vicinity of the Bates County Drainage
Ditch is under several feet of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 34.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM CDT Sunday was 35.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 23.4 feet Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Weather hazards expected...

Limited lightning risk.
Elevated excessive rainfall risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and non severe thunderstorms are expected across the area
today. The greatest coverage of showers and storms, along with
potential for some localized heavy rainfall and flooding, is over
southern Missouri.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.


A couple rounds of severe thunderstorms are possible through
midweek. The first will be late Monday into early Tuesday where
damaging winds and a few short lived tornadoes will be the primary
threats. The second will be late Tuesday night into Wednesday, but
details with this round are unclear at this point.
