central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.


There is a chance of thunderstorms today and tonight. An isolated
strong thunderstorms with gusty winds, small hail, and locally heavy
rainfall is possible this afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.


There is a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday and again Wednesday night
through late Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW AFTERNOON...


* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Meramec River near Arnold.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Corisande Hills Road begins flooding at
this height. Meramec Bottom Road between Hageman Road and Highway
21 begins flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 24.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:30 AM CDT Monday was 26.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this morning and continue falling to 22.2 feet Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
