...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in

Missouri...

Grand River near Brunswick affecting Carroll and Chariton
Counties.

Grand River near Sumner affecting Linn, Carroll, Livingston and
Chariton Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TUESDAY MORNING...


* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Grand River near Sumner.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Bottomland 1 to 2 miles south of the gage
begins to flood.
At 26.0 feet, Rural land adjacent to the river is flooded.
At 28.0 feet, Rural roads are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 25.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
morning and crest near 33.6 feet early Saturday afternoon. It
will then fall below flood stage again late Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Grand River near Brunswick.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying areas occurs along
the west bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge
about 1 mile west of Brunswick.
At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas along the east bank of the Grand
River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:47 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage this
afternoon to 16.9 feet tomorrow morning. It will then rise
above flood stage Saturday afternoon to 20.4 feet Sunday
evening. It will fall below flood stage again Monday evening.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
