Strong southeast winds today and tonight across eastern North
Dakota and adjacent portions of Minnesota, with gusts up to 50 mph
at times.

Showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected across the
region. The main hazard will be lightning.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Minnesota and
northeast and southeast North Dakota.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 1 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
